Lindsay Hunt and Chris Horgen, AKA "the cat in the hat" read two Dr. Seuss stories, "Horton Hears a Who" and "The Cat in the Hat" to Burgess Elementary School students in celebration of Dr. Seuss's birthday - March 2. They came Monday, March 3. During the week of Dr. Seuss's birthday, librarians across the U.S. promote the reading of Dr. Seuss stories as part of the reading promotion, "Read Across America." Annette Parker, librarian at Burgess Elementary invited the KAUZ co-anchors to share Dr. Seuss with the students. Afterward, students enjoyed cake as part of his birthday celebration.
