Well if you haven't heard, you've been living under a rock!

The New York Yankees are World Series champions for the 27th time in team history. They beat the defending champion Philadelphia Phillies 7 to 3 in Game Six. Fans mobbed the streets of New York City, and the party will last through the day.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg said there will be a parade to honor the team.
