The Number 1 team in Class A baseball opened up their regional quarterfinal best of three series with an 8-2 over Petrolia at Hoskins Field. Game 2 is Friday night at 6:30 at Hoskins Field. Holliday ranked number 2 in Class 2A beat Peaster in Game 1 13-3 at Graham. Game 2 is Saturday at 4 at Graham. Friday, Seymour opens up their Class A Regional Quarterfinals best of 3 series with Clarendon at 6 at Lubbock Westerner High School. Northside will play Follett Friday in their best of 3 series, game 1 will be at 5 at Amarillo High School.
