Rider High School's Logan Howard has signed a national letter of intent indicating she will play softball for Grayson College in Denison this fall. Howard earned first team all-district honors this year for getting the Lady Raiders to within one game of the playoffs. Howard hit nearly .463 at the plate and posted an earned run average of 1.84 in the circle. Over the course of her career, Howard struck out over 500 hitters. "It seems so sureal! I never pictured this day happening. But, it's sad that its over. I am really excited to be doing it," says Logan Howard. Howard is joining a Grayson County program that finished last season with a record of 23-17.
