Archer City Lady Cats jumps on top of Petrolia Lady Pirates 4-0, but Petrolia gets close with 3 runs but that's all they would score as Archer City wins 4-3 over Petrolia in the Class A Regional Quarterfinals. The Lady Cats advance to the regional semifinals. In baseball Vernon would lose game one of their best of 3 series in the Area round against Decatur in Windthorst 10-4. The Lions play game 2 Friday in Graham. The Burkburnett Bulldogs lose game one to Sanger at Hoskins Field 7-0. Game 2 is Saturday at 1 at Denton Guyer.
