Betty Cain
Betty Cain Betty Cain, 79, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, November 1, 2009 after a long battle with cancer. Betty was born on April 11 in Goldsboro, NC to Mary Lois and Ronald J. Smith. She moved to Wichita Falls with her husband in 1968 where she enrolled in the Vocational Nursing Program at Bethania Hospital. She then dedicated many years of her life helping others as an LVN. She and her husband enjoyed traveling and camping. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Talmage “Jim” Cain, a daughter, Betty Phelps and husband Charlie of Wichita Falls, a son, David Wilson and his wife Claudia of Signal Mt., Tenn., daughter Cindy Daniels of Eldorado, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Kathy Eubanks, and son, Mark Wilson. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren including Scott Welch and wife Sharnae of Wichita Falls, and 4 great grandchildren. Family visitation will be held from 7 PM to 8 PM, Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be at 1 PM, Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at Crestview Memorial Park. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
