Velma Leora Bromley Velma Leora Bromley, 91, of Wichita Falls passed away Friday, October 2, 2009. Services have been scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 5, 2009 at Calvary Baptist Church of Wichita Falls officiated by Reverend Danny Hodgkins. Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Lone Grove Cemetery in Lone Grove Oklahoma. Services are directed by Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home. Velma was born September 19, 1918 in Lone Grove, Oklahoma to Walter and Maggie Scantlin Bromley. She lived with her only sister from 1995 until 2008 when she moved to Midwestern Health Care Center. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Ms. Bromley is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Maggie Bromley; brothers, Carvel, Wesley, and Hubert Bromley. Survivors include her sister, Bernice Brumbalow; nieces, Alma Hanks, Nancy Cotton, Barbara Ward, Sue Bromley, Marilyn Bromley; nephew, J.R. Bromley; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Family will receive friends from 4:00-5:00 p.m., Sunday, October 4, 2009 at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home. If desired, memorials may be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls. More Good Stuff |
