Evelyn Margie Lesh Evelyn Margie Lesh, 86, long time resident of Wichita Falls, died Thursday, September 24, 2009 in Collierville, TN. Service is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 26, 2009 at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Hampton Vaughan. Evelyn was born December 29, 1922, in Wichita Falls to Janie Lou (Elliott) and Lee Voin Fitzwater. She was a former assistant City Clerk of Wichita Falls and a retired Homebuilder. She was a member of First Assembly of God. She lived in Wichita Falls until four years ago when she moved to the Memphis area to be near her son. Mrs. Lesh is preceded in death by William David Whitney, the Father of her two sons; her husband Dan B. Lesh; son Bobby Dave Whitney; and brother Corporal Billy Wayne Fitzwater. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Reverend Jimmy D. and Jolynn Whitney of Olive Branch, MS; step-daughters, Candace McKee of Wichita Falls, Mary Ann Lesh of Sherman; nine grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
