Erin was born July 5, 1973, in Wichita Falls, TX, to Gary and Marty Rhea. Erin graduated from Plano Senior High School in Plano, TX, and attended university at Randolph-Macon in Lynchburg, VA. She started a successful dog walking business in San Francisco.

Erin's personal philosophy was "Live and Let Live" and she embraced the diverse community of San Francisco as her home. She deeply touched the lives of her friends and family with her shining personality and unconditional love. Erin's intuition and sensitivity were sources of comfort and understanding to many who knew her.  Her excitement for the world beamed in her brilliant ideas, and her love of individuals shone in small, meaningful expressions, like her beautifully prepared meals and late-night, honest conversations.

Ms. Rhea is preceded in death by her grandfathers, George C. Huntington, Sr. and Hugh G. Rhea; and grandmother, Patricia Huntington Nice. 

Erin is survived by her parents, Marty and Gary Rhea of Windsor Heights, IO; grandmother, Dorothy Rhea Hamill of Windsor Heights, IO; sisters, Robin Fennelly of Arlington, VA, and Kristin Rhea of Denton, TX; brother, Jonathan Rhea of Coppell, TX; niece and nephew, Caitlin and Ryan Fennelly of Arlington, VA; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
