USS New York Built From Remnants of the World Trade Center

A new Navy ship built with steel from the World Trade Center has arrived in New York City, greeted by a 21-gun salute.

First responders, families of September 11th victims and the public gathered to welcome the USS New York as it sailed near the site of the 2001 attack.

The New York is 684 feet long and can carry up to 800 Marines.
