A warning before your next barbecue. A major meat recall has expanded. It now covers nearly a dozen Western states. First it was Wal-Mart stores that pulled tainted beef from shelves, now, United Food group is recalling beef.

Just as barbeque season is heating up, consumers in 21 states have been warned to watch what they put on the grill. Beef from two major processors may be contaminated with dangerous e-coli bacteria.

The United Food Group is now recalling 5.7 MILLION pounds of fresh and frozen beefa huge expansion of recall that has been growing ever since shoppers were first warned about it last week. "It's really concerning. especially with kids and everything you know
it's summertime, bbq's are going on so it's you know, kind of a scare." said one shopper.

United Food Group was distributed in eleven western states...with sell-by dates in early May the meat shouldn't be on the shelf anymore but could be in freezers. Meat, distributed to Wal-mart stores, has been pulled off the shelves. No illnesses have been reported.
