Fire Destroys Wichita Falls Home

A Wichita Falls family loses their home to a fire this morning, but is lucky to have their lives. Around 5:45 this morning Wichita Falls Firefighters were called out to 1209 North 10th where a mobile home was burning. A family of 2 adults and 4 children were home at the time. One kid is still in the hospital with burns to his back. An adult and another child were treated and released for burns. Fire investigators say the air condition shorted out and caused the fire. Damages are estimated at $20,000. The local Red Cross is assisting the family.
