The Wichita Falls Metropolitan Planning Organization, along with the consulting firm of Kimley-Horn, is pleased to host a public meeting concerning local transportation tonight, November 19th from 6-8 p.m. at the Wichita Falls Public Library in Room 203, located at 600 11th St.

Whether you live or work in the Wichita Falls metropolitan area, as a business owner, stakeholder, or a citizen, citizen input is relevant and highly valued as officials plan for the future growth of the Wichita Falls area.

The Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) is a long-range planning document that focuses on the development of roadways, infrastructures, and other transportation needs or services in our MPO area, which includes Wichita Falls, Lakeside City, and Pleasant Valley.

The MTP serves as a "blueprint" of proposed plans, projects, programs, and policies, aimed to reach outlined transportation recommendations and provide solutions to improve the overall quality of life for our area and residents.
