Lawton Woman Killed In Car Accident

A Lawton woman died after an accident in Archer County Tuesday (November 10, 2009).

It happened about a mile from the Archer City limits on State Highway 79.

State Troopers said 53-year-old Deborah Edwards was parked on the side of the road when a driver in an oncoming vehicle swerved and crashed into her car.

A passenger with Edwards and the driver of the other vehicle were both taken to United Regional.

No word yet on their condition.
