Fort Sill Honoring Soldiers

While some families and friends welcome home their soldiers, others are saying goodbye. Fort Sill has honored soldiers in both "Welcome Home" and "Deployment" ceremonies today (November 9).

115 soldiers of Bravo and Delta Companies of the 5th Battalion 159th Aviation are deploying to Iraq. The ceremony was held this afternoon at the polo field.

Also about 40 soldiers of 295th ordnance came home from Afghanistan where they have been for about a year. That ceremony was at Rinehart Physical Fitness Center.
