Sergeant Killed During Tour of Duty in Afghanistan

One of two servicemen who called Texas home died this week in Afghanistan.

San Antonio native Sergeant Cesar Ruiz died in Afghanistan over the weekend. The 26-year-old had a wife and one-year-old son. He was killed when he stepped on a land mine.

It was his second tour of duty.
