Halloween: One of the Most Dangerous Nights of the Year for Pedestrians

Halloween isn't just one of the scariest nights of the year, it can also be the most dangerous.

A recent study by Allstate shows pedestrian accidents in Texas jump 23 percent during Halloween week. October 3st is the second highest pedestrian death day of the year behind 4th of July and since it falls on a weekend this year, more kiddos and cars are expected to be on the road later at night, so it's crucial to pay attention. Never text and drive and even avoid texting and walking while out trick or treating.

Instead, focus on the traffic and getting safely to the next house to fill up those goodie bags.
