Domestic Violence Happens Every Day, Candlelight Vigil Tonight at M.S.U. Remembers Victims

First Step of Wichita Falls is holding a candlelight vigil at Midwestern State University tonight, raising awareness for domestic violence.

Cases happen everyday. Wichita Falls police just arrested a 51-year-old Larry Hall for attacking his girlfriend with a knife. Police said it happened in the 1300 block of Bell Street. Officials said the couple got into an argument, and Hall pulled out a knife. As the girlfriend was trying to get away, Hall sliced her arm.

Hall is charged with aggravated assault family violence and resisting arrest.
