Accident Outside Forestburg Claims Life of Teen

A Montague County teen is dead and three others are in the hospital, following a crash on FM 455.

Deputies say 17-year-old Abigail Lloyd was driving near Forestburg when she crossed the center line and hit another car with a woman and a child inside. The child--the only child involved in this crash--is not in the hospital. Doctors are treating the woman, 21-year-old Mackenzie Lainer at Bowie Memorial.

Lloyd and one of her passengers, 17-year-old Naomi Hudspeth, are in critical condition at hospitals in Fort Worth. A third passenger, 18-year-old Anita Esparza, passed away.

God was there, and here now. Anita did not suffer, she is with Jesus now, that is what I tell Naomi when she cries over the loss, she is cying for missing Anita, and for Anita's family missing her. We are giving thanks to God for bringing her through this and allowing us more time with this precious child that he has given us.We thank God for Naomi, also Abby, Makenzie and her little boy.
