Parents Get Criminal Charges for Using Meth In Front of Child
Two Wichita County residents are being charged with injury to a child. The parents, 21-year-old Marissa Katheryn Johnson and 21-year-old Sean Matther Wagnor initially faced a variety of other charges but because their child was around them while they were doing meth, they are being charged with injury to a child. The charges stem from an incident which occurred last year in Electra. In October, officers were asked to check on the welfare of a child who was staying at a residence in the city. Police found a child and four adults along with methamphetamine and a stolen gun at the home. The other two individuals in the trailer also face weapons and drug charges. Electra is not the place for families or kids. Tuesday, Oct 27 at 12:42 PM Mia wrote ...I'm glad these people are being charged for injury to a child. I have done research on the effects of meth on a house and the occupants within. Children will develop sever health issues from being exposed to this. The parents have a choice. The children don't. Kudos to the officers looking out for children! Tuesday, Oct 27 at 12:42 PM Ignatius J. Reilly wrote ...Journalism 101: The parents should be identified in the second paragraph.
