Martinez Arraigned on Murder and Assault Charges

A Cache man has been arraigned in connection with a deadly attack on a Comanche County family.

Mica Alexander Martinez, 29-year-old, was arraigned on one count of first degree murder and two felony assault and battery charges. Martinez is being denied bail. He's accused of entering a home and beating three people inside.

Martha Miller, 55-year-old, died Tuesday and her 64-year-old husband Carl is in critical condition. Martha's 33-year-old son Shawn Monk fought the intruder. He was treated and released.

A preliminary hearing for Martinez is set for December 2nd.
