Robbery in Clay County Leaves Officials Searching for Suspect

The Clay County Sheriff's Department is investigating an afternoon robbery.

Just after noon on September 24th, deputies say a woman walked into the Movie Gallery just off Spur 510 in Henrietta and demanded cash. She told the clerk she had a gun but never showed one. The woman got away with an undisclosed amount of money. Deputies believe she had a vehicle waiting nearby because she was out of the area quickly.

The suspect is described as a white female standing about 5'6" and weighs between 140 and 160 lbs.  She was wearing a black Harley Davidson jacket, boots, blue jeans, a knit cap and big, round sunglasses.

If you can help solve this crime, call the Clay County Sherrif's Department at 538-5611.
