Former Montague Co. Deputy Accused of Soliciting 16-Year-Old During Traffic Stop
A former Montague County deputy is accused of soliciting sexual favors from a 16-year-old girl during a traffic stop. 27-year-old Brian Edward Henry has been free on bond since his arrest last month following his indictment. He faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted of indecency with a child and an additional year if convicted of official oppression. The Montague County District Attorney says Henry's arrest is unrelated to a jail scandal early this year when 17 people, including the former Montague sheriff and some jailers, were indicted on charges of having sex with inmates or bringing them drugs.
