A String of Car Thefts Leave Duncan PD Searching for Culprits
DUNCAN, OK--Detectives with the Duncan Police Department are investigating a string of car thefts. Officers say several vehicles have been stolen in recent weeks. Officials report that nine cars have been stolen in Duncan this month. Duncan police say some arrests have been made, and they have several more suspects in sight. The police department has several leads on suspects for a recent rash of car thefts. Detective John Byers of the Duncan Police Department said, "Over the past month we've had approximately 9 vehicles stolen. They have all been stolen from Duncan city limits. Most have been unlocked with keys in them or in purses or ashtrays or something like." Two suspects were arrested in Elmore City, Oklahoma, and more arrests are pending.
