Texas Wind Farm Gets $114 Million in Support of Clean Energy

A south Texas wind farm is getting more than $114 million in federal money  in support of clean energy projects.

Overall, $502 million will be handed out in the first round of awards from an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

The only Texas project to receive funding in the initial phase of the program is the Penascal Wind Farm south of Sarita.
