Wichita County Sheriff's Office Puts An End To Meth Lab

Methamphetamine users are going to have a harder time finding drugs after a major bust this morning. The Wichita County District Attorney's Office, Drug Enforcement Division, and Deputies with the Wichita County Sheriff's Office conducted the raid this morning near Burkburnett.

Officials said they went to a home on Vaughn Road and found a meth lab, along with all the ingredients necessary to manufacture meth, including ten gallons of anhydrous ammonia. Investigators said the items seized could have made more than $30,000 worth of the drug.

 "That's always our goal, to get to the drugs and the stuff that makes the drugs before they get in the hands of the citizens of this county."says Tony Fidelie.

 "Two people are in custody. Male and female both will be charged with possession and transportation of certain chemicals."continued Sheriff David Duke.

The Wichita County Sheriff's Office cannot release the suspects names until their rights are read. That's expected to happen on Friday.
