500 Dogs Seized from Puppy Mill
It's estimated more than 500 dogs have been seized from a property in Montague county. Sheriff Paul Cunninham began investigating the area when he took office in January. He says he had been receiving reports of a self-breeding outfit. A warrant was signed and law enforcement immediately headed out to the place which is between the cities of Montague and Bowie. KAUZ's Dan Garcia also rushed to the scene and tells us there were dogs and puppies all over the place. The owners were there at the time, but so far they have not been charged with any crimes pending a full investigation. A court hearing is set for July 17th to determine where the animals will go.
