Drivers Beware Of Drunk Driving This Weekend

Wichita Falls Police will also be stepping up patrols this weekend. The department is teaming up with the Wichita County D.A.'s office to arrests drunk drivers.

While police will provide extra patrols, the D.A.'s office will have a prosecutor on duty to provide officers with immediate warrants for blood alcohol tests. The warrants will only be issued if drivers refuse a breathalizer test.
