The Wichita Falls community gathered to support a good cause.  A charity art auction was held today, June 27th, at the United Market Street parking lot in an effort to support two-month-old Annabel Leigh Villadiego.

Annabel has Trisomy 18, also known as Edward's syndrome. The disorder has resulted in a four millimeter hole located in her heart. If she makes it to six months, she will need an operation.

"It's not a blanket generic diagnosis that they should treat your baby like an individual and give her or him the treatment that they need. like with our miracle, Annabel, she's been with us for two months now and they told us that she would not even make it a few days, so we're lucky to have her." says George Villadiego, Annabel's father.

Children like her desperetely need help. There will be a benefit show tonight at the Oui Lounge, located at 320 North Scott Street. The show is featuring live music by "The Group" with Kelly Jackson,  Britt Whyrick, James Cook, and more.

It lasts until midnight, and is BYOB. Donations are being accepted at the door, and will go towards research of the disorder.
