Holliday Fire destroyes home

Wichita Falls residents are concerned about smoke in the Falls but we need to let everyone know the fire is south of Archer City.

It is a big grass fire and crews are doing everything they can to extinguish it. We also have a crew at the scene and will bring you the latest tonight at ten. Meanwhile....a home is destroyed by fire near Holliday. Flames erupted just after 12 this afternoon on West Avenue. Crews from Holliday, Lakeside City, Bowman and Wichita West worked together to keep the fire from spreading to other homes. One person lived in the home but wasn't there at the time. Investigators are looking into what started the blaze.
