In our Eye on Crime. A murder trial is stalled in Montague County.

Garland Wayne Ballentine the Third is accused of stabbing 26 year old Ross Lane Richards to death in September of last year. Both men are from Megargel in Archer County. But a change of venue moved the trial to Montague County.

Prosecutors were set to begin presenting their case yesterday. But their first witness . Ballentine's brother...Didn't show up to court. He has been located in waco and is being brought back to texoma to testify. The trial should resume tuesday morning.
