Work to complete "Falls Flyover" again underway

Work began again Monday to complete work on the "Falls Flyover."

Completion had been delayed almost a year, after it was determined the "ride" on the roadway was not up to standards. The first phase of work will take about ten weeks and the whole project should be complete by May or June, according to the Tx-Dot Area Engineer, James Kelly.

It makes one wonder why the work was delayed for almost a year. Did the state or city have to pay additional money to compensate the builder for HIS mistakes? Will we ever get the answers?
