Apache Co, AZ (CNN) An eight-year-old boy in Arizona is accused of killing his father and his father's friend and now we're getting a look at the interview police did with the child as part of their investigation. Sections of the videotaped interview were released by the Apache County Attorney's office.

The child has been charged in juvenile court with two counts of murder in the deaths of Vincent Romero, the boy's father and Timothy Romans, who was renting a room in the family's home.

The killings happened earlier this month in the small town in the eastern part of the state.

During the interview, which authorities say lasts about an hour, the boy admits to killing the two men. The boy's attorney says police verreached in their questioning of the boy, who was not represented by a family member or lawyer during the interview.

Investigators say, at the time of the interview, the boy was not considered a suspect, but rather a victim.

If there was no family member to give permission to this interagation then a court appointed Gardian Ad Litem should have been there or his Lawyer-- How about MERANDA RIGHTS? But what if this boy is guilty? If someone commits such a horrid crime when they are younger are we to just accept that and move on? As if it sends a message to younger children that it is okay you are a double murderer? Where does the murder victims fit into this equation? Gone and forgotten? No justice for them? The boy's interrogation reminds me of those that led to the pre-school "molestation" cases of the 1980s, in which young children were led by interviewers to describe satanic rituals and animal sacrifices that never happened. Young children will say whatever a determined adult wants them to say, and even come to believe it. The Arizona police interviewers and their superiors who approved the interview should be thrown off the force.

I am outraged at some of the press and comments I have seen. There is no proof that has been presented anywhere, other than this so-called confession, that this boy committed this crime. The only fact we know is that two grown men were murdered and we do not know who did it. Can you imagine what damage has been done to this child if he was NOT the murderer? He has been handcuffed, his ankles shackled and dragged into a courtroom. He was not permitted to attend his father's funeral. God help him.
