Vernon Police & Fire Departments Investigate Shooting & Arson

Vernon Police say a shooting and an arson are connected. The shooting happened early Wednesday morning at the 1300 block of Houston. Vernon Police Chief Allen Metcalf says the got a call about a large crowd of people fighting. Police found two victims with no life threating gunshot wounds. Then a couple house later, police believe someone intentionally set the Cowboy Club on fire in retaliation to the shooting. Police are looking for suspects in the crimes.
