"We have almost 300 now on ticketsmyway.com" BBB president Monica Horton says some tickets are not being delivered, or are arriving late, while others are for bogus seats.

 To make sure you're not scammed, Horton says start by double checking what's being offered. For example if your buying a ticket to a Dallas Cowboys game, cross check the ticket and seat online.

Another tip is to go straight through the event location itself. Like the Wichita Falls MPEC. It uses a software service called tickets dot com. MPEC Director Bob Sullivan says it's proven credible and has a satisfactory record with the BBB.

Bob Sullivan said, "I think we have proven over the last 4 years that when people buy tickets through tickets.com or box office that shows do happen and if it is canceled of if something happened money is refunded at point of purchase."
