The City of "Character!"

News1 KAUZ

Mayor Lanham Lyne is calling for heightened moral standards in Wichita Falls, and today, council members voted to establish the city as a 'City of Character.'

Several graduates from the class of 2008 leadership in Wichita Falls attended today's city council meeting to discuss their upcoming class project.

They will be going to local elementary, middle, and high schools to teach kids about character, and designing banners to illustrate each quality.

"Each of the members of the art class will be given a character trait of which they will learn what that character trait it about. They will do an artist rendering that will depict that character quality."

The art will be displayed throughout wichita falls next summer.
