Heavy rainfall throughout Monday night and early Tuesday morning has caused many flooding problems and travel delays.

A search and rescue operation is reportedly in effect 5-6 miles south of Waurika due to a report of a vehicle being washed off the road. Officials are currently looking for the vehicle and its occupants at this time.

Interstate 44 from US 287 northward to the Texas State Line is CLOSED. Also, all road in and out of Burkburnett are closed at this time.

Sheppard AFB is on a 2-hour delay for all personnel.

As you head out Tuesday morning, please watch for rising waters. Drive safely - Turn Around, don't drown.
