Click It or Ticket Starts Monday

News1 KAUZ

Drivers beware, a big campaign is about to start.
The 7th annual "Click It or Ticket" campaign starts Monday.
Crash test dummies were on site at the Wichita Falls Traveler Bureau this morning, demonstrating what happens when you fail to safely secure your child.
Captain Manuel Borrego of the Wichita Falls Police Department says there will be no excuse for drivers if you're pulled over for seatbelt violations. Captain Borrego says, "We're gonna have officers out working various hours rather than regular work hours--issuing citations--to enforce violations of seatbelt laws." Last year 19 people were killed in Wichita Falls for not wearing a seatbelt.

Since the 2002 start of the "Click It or Ticket" campaign, an estimated 16,000 lives have been saved.
