A cold front will stall just southeast of Interstate 44 overnight.

Moderately unstable conditions will persist tonight near and Southeast of the front. But surface air will cool and stabilize overnight. Farther south... a large complex of thunderstorms over Central and Southern Texas will move east overnight.

Low level winds may increase late tonight bringing elevated moisture and Instability into the area of the front later tonight. But the storm complex in Texas is likely to intercept much of the Northward-moving moisture that otherwise would move back into Northern Texas and Oklahoma.

A few strong storms will remain possible through around midnight. Isolated storms may reach severe levels briefly. But the overall risk of severe weather is expected to decrease through the rest of the night.
