High Speed Chase Ends in Attempted Murder Charges

News1 KAUZ

A high speed chase spanned more than 50 miles and put a state trooper's life in danger.
It started this morning in Breckenridge and ended up in Olney.

Law enforcement tried several times to stop the suspect, even shutting down U.S. Highway 114 and laying out stop sticks. When the supect veered to miss the stop sticks, he almost hit a trooper. That's when officials shot out the suspect's tires and placed him under arrest.
The suspect is in the Young County Jail facing charges of attempted capital murder.
