The husband of a missing Nocona teacher is out on bond after being indicted by a Denton County Grand Jury for murder on Thursday (November 12, 2009).

Five years ago, 54-year-old Charles Edward Stobaugh's wife, 48-year-old Katherine Lynn Stobaugh, went missing. The Denton County Sheriff's Department says Katherine visited her husband in December 2004.

After the two met, Deputies say she did not return to the house where she was staying with her two children. Charles Stobaugh reportedly told the kids she had gone a trip. Katherine's daughter reported her missing five days later.

Investigators have not found her body but believe she is dead. Charles Stobaugh is set to be arraigned for murder December 3rd.
