Wichita Falls police are releasing the name of a man shot to death Monday night (September 28th).

Officers reported 27-year-old Justin Ryder died around 9 p.m. of multiple gunshot wounds. A second victim, 63-year-old Walter King, is recovering from surgery.

Police say the men were shot during an altercation at a home in the 2300 block of Garfield. Neither of the men lived in the home. Police say three other people in the house were detained and interviewed by detectives.

Seriously, THANK YOU WFPD. The police officers of Wichita Falls work hard to patrol our streets and answer 911 calls. Imagine if they did not assist in the altercations that they do how many more stories like this there would be. BAD things happen people. Pray that there is a police officer there when they do but if there is not then do what you have to do. I am sure these people did. To the trouble makers BEWARE because WE can protect our family and home and WE will.

This is not gang related, just a bad set of circumstances that went wrong. We still have a right to protect out castle in this country folks...sorry if folks end up dead in the process. Stay away from castles that don't belong to you! The lesson here is don't mess around other peoples property and threaten them.
