A night spent with friends, quickly turns deadly for one Wichita Falls man, in tonight's Cold Case.

We go back to the tragic weekend when Joseph Clayton, 45, was found murdered. The Top Hat Bar,  was the spot Clayton was at with buddies that fatal night.  Police say after heading home Clayton entered his home on Hayes, and headed off to bed, only to be murdered by an un-known killer.

 "It could've been a number of different things. Could've been that someone came in with him, or came after him while in bed asleep. We just don't know at this point." said WFPD Officer Harold McClure.

Police say the next morning just after 7:30a.m., Joseph's girlfriend came over to check on him.

 "She comes in the house looking for him calling not getting an answer."

 But one thing she did find very un-usual was the front glass door un-locked.

 "Apparently that wasn't his habit to leave that door un-locked."

But she continued and quickly found Joseph.

 "She finds him in one of the bedrooms and goes to wake him up and is not getting any response then she realizes he is dead so  she runs from the house to go call police."

When police arrive they find Joseph had been strangled. And now they need your help and tips, to find the person responsible.
