 A 20 year old girl missing for several days, is dead and her killer remains a mystery.

In Tonight's Cold Case Series we go back 25 years, to the murder of Laurie Marilyn Fisch.

Fisch is the youngest victim so far, making it one of the hardest Cold Cases for officers to leave un-solved.

It was about 10 a.m. the summer of 1983, when a man passing by noticed something he would never forget, in the 800 block of Jalonick.

"At the time there was a dirt road there, so he was going down dirt road, and saw a body out in the field." said W.F.P.D. Officer Harold Mcclure.

After checking he finds Laurie and heads to call police. 

"She was last seen leaving the Royal Inn on Seymour Highway." said Officer McClure.

Police say Laurie had been shot in the head.

"At the time she was un identified there was not any type of id info in the scene with her."

After officers identified the young victim they discovered it was the body, of a girl they had been looking for from a missing person's report.                    

Police say a friend of Laurie's, who lived at the same motel, is the one who made the report.
