In tonight's cold case report we take a look at a man from Munday, Texas killed in Wichita Falls. The tragic murder happened 28 years ago on November 9,1980.

Police say his name was Richard Willoughby, but friends and family called him Michael. Police say his body was found, near the Wichita Dam, now known as the Spillway. Glenda Jackson who was with Michael the night before, was married to Michael's brother Pat.

She says they were all in town visiting the mens mother who was dying of cancer. Glenda says they drove to the falls and stayed at a downtown motel.

"Pats brother Mike was in one room and we were in another, and then the next morning when we went to pick him up and take him to the hospital he didn't answer the door." said Glenda Jackson.
    
Glenda and Pat filed a missing persons report. The next day, his body was found in tall weeds. Officers say a couple walking along the West end of the Wichita Dam, are the ones who spotted him.
        
The couple flagged down another passerby for help. But when officers arrived they found Willoughby with a deadly blow to the back of the head.

Glenda says Michael had taken out a small loan the before heading to the Falls. She feels someone took complete advantage of him.
    
Glenda says Michael's mother died shortly after, making it one of the hardest times ever for the family and for Michael's brother Pat, who has since passed away.
   
Witness told officers the day before they spotted an older model brown vehicle parked near where the body was found. They say a white man was in the driver's seat, a white female in the front passenger's seat, and another white man was laying on the ground beside the vehicle, police say that man could have been Willoughby.
