Breast Cancer Awareness Month may be over, but a Wichita Falls business is doing its part to make sure awareness of the disease remains prominent.

"Spa On The Plaza" in Wichita Falls is hosting "Sugaring and Massaging for the Cure." On Nov. 14, Susan G. Komen Foundation will recieve 15 percent of all hair removal and massage proceeds.

Owner Judy Maness says people from several salons are working together, out of her business, for this event. She said, "It's a great cause to fight for because so many women, and also men, are affected by breast cancer and we just wanted to do what we can to help get the word out, and have women do what they need to do."


Spa On The Plaza will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Nov. 14 and walk-ins are accepted.
