A Texas native and serviceman died this week south of the Texas border in a place Fort Bliss has deemed too dangerous for its troops.

Twenty-six-year-old Staff Sergeant David Booher was among six killed at a club in Juarez.

Investigators say gunmen stormed into the club and opened fire.
