Gas Explosion Shakes Amarillo Neighborhood

A gas explosion near Amarillo has left a neighborhood in ruins. Firefighters just put out the flames at 10 this morning (November 5th).

When the gas line exploded, the impact shattered windows and burned a house. Doctors treated three people at the hospital who are all doing okay.

Fire investigators are on the scene right now, trying to figure out what caused this gas line to explode.

I am from Amarillo & just moved to Wichita Falls at the end of September. This explosion actually happened in a small community to the west of Amarillo, not in a neighborhood of Amarillo. The majortiy of residents in Bushland work in Amarillo.
