Two teachers and three Vernon High School students were sent to the hospital this morning after the vehicle they were riding in rolled over. Vernon's superintendent tells KAUZ that the group was on a field trip to Jacksboro.

The five, including Ag teachers Kyle Myers and Jennifer Hunter, were in a school truck pulling a trailer that was to be used to purchase animals for the Ag department. While on Highway 25, something caused the driver to lose control and crash, seven miles south of Mankins.

D.P.S. is handling the investigation. No word on how the students and staff are doing.
