A Wichita County man is entering a plea deal for manufacturing a controlled substance. 28-year-old Mark Anthony Knapp will spend ten years in prison.

His arrest was part of a county wide manhunt back in March. The sheriff's office says Knapp and another man were found cooking meth at an oil lease but when deputies tried to arrest them, they took off, prompting a search involving several police departments and helicopters.

I went to school with Mark, I saw him as a younger person, he may have a had a rough life, he may be trying to make ends meet, but cooking meth and contributing more foulness to our local society shouldn't have been his way. He may be a good person, but nevertheless, he needs to see the error of his ways. . . .get his life straight
